They are saying that I may have torn a piece of cartilage in my wrist which may lead to surgery... slightly frightened by the news as it may lead to a lot of change in my life...

No joke of an injury man. Took me a solid year to recover from this injury. Was non weight bearing for over 2 months. Had to learn to walk again.

Damn BRO bro! Same thing happened to me when I was 26, had to be in a boot for 3 month. That was the LAST time I ever played a full court basketball game. Switched to bodybuilding and crossfit once I healed up. That said YOU can definitely bounce back as long as you rehab it and let it heal fully before you start going full speed again!
